Getting around
The best way to discover the village is by foot. There is a beach at 1km as well as some of the best fish restaurants Crete has to offer. Inside the heart of the old village is a traditional Greek Taverna, El Milatos, which offers live music. Just a few steps away from the Green house.

Big beautiful house in a lovely quiet place. Hostess Eleni showed us around and invited us over for dinner at her family-run restaurant, which we highly recommend visiting! The house interior is raw and beautiful, and more roomy than the pictures suggest. All utilities work perfectly. The roof terrace is absolutely 10/10, too.
A car is highly recommended for visiting neighboring towns and villages. By foot, Milatos beach is close-by and hosts plenty of restaurants and small beaches. Milatos Cave is also very interesting.
All in all a perfect place to relax while exploring the island.

Cozy House in a small traditional village nearby the tourist centers of Sissi and Malia. Having you own car is a necessity. Restaurants and a small shop accessible by foot. Feels much more spacious than on the pictures. Two separate en suite bedrooms. Downstairs bedroom with separate entrance. Large roof top terrace with sea view accessible through the upstairs bedroom only. Great communication and local contact person.
